Job Title: Master Mechanic Job Description
As a Master Mechanic, you will safely perform general mechanical work including construction, repairs, modifications, inspections, and troubleshooting. You will undertake mechanical job assignments that include rebuilding to OEM specifications, precision alignment, and replacement of various equipment such as pumps, blowers, compressors, bearings, piping, valves, cranes, heat exchangers, refrigeration systems, hydraulic systems, boilers, and more. A strong aptitude for troubleshooting and solving mechanical equipment problems is essential.
Responsibilities
Rebuild and repair mechanical equipment to OEM specifications.
Perform precision alignment and replacement of pumps, blowers, compressors, and other machinery.
Conduct inspections and maintenance of mechanical systems.
Troubleshoot and solve problems with mechanical equipment.
Utilize knowledge of plant machines, pumps, and tools for repair and maintenance tasks.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance and/or construction of mechanical equipment.
Journeyman papers or equivalent education and experience in mechanical fields.
Proficiency in troubleshooting, mechanical and hydraulic systems, pneumatics, and blueprint reading.
Experience with preventive maintenance and machine repair.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to work a normal daylight shift Monday through Friday and respond to overtime, callouts, and emergency work.
Capability to work outside in all weather conditions.
Strong physical abilities including eye-hand coordination, climbing, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment
The work environment is very industrial and non-climate controlled, with exposure to chemical mixing and blending equipment. You may be required to work outside in various weather conditions. The standard hours are 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $87152.00 - $89772.00/yr.
