Production Associate – 1st & 2nd shift
$16-19/HR
Shift: 6AM-2:30PM & 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Location: Warehouse / Production Facility
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Production Associate to support a fast‑paced warehouse operation on 2nd shift. This hands‑on role focuses on pulling, cutting, bundling, and preparing copper tubing and pipe for shipment to major retail customers. You’ll work across multiple departments—cutting, packaging, shipping, and receiving—while ensuring orders are accurate, safely packaged, and ready for distribution.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build warehouse and production skills, cross‑train into multiple departments, and increase earnings through a structured production incentive program.
Key Responsibilities
Move copper pipe and tubing to designated warehouse pick locations
Accurately pull customer orders according to work orders and specifications
Barcode, label, and identify materials for traceability
Bundle, wrap, and protect pipe for safe handling and shipment
Cut pipe according to cut sheets and production requirements
Perform basic scrap identification and segregation
Wrap finished product for outbound shipments
Load outbound trucks and unload inbound deliveries as needed
Use hand tools and basic production equipment safely
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Collaborate with departments including saw operation, receiving, shipping, and work orders
Required Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or general labor environment
Ability to safely use basic hand tools
Willingness to assist with machine operations related to cutting and handling pipe
Experience with shipping and receiving processes
Ability to lift, move, and handle bundled materials throughout the shift
Strong attention to detail when picking, labeling, and packaging orders
Ability to read and follow work orders, cut sheets, and labeling instructions
Work Environment
Non‑climate‑controlled warehouse (hot summers, cold winters)
Noise levels range from quiet to moderate, depending on department
Physically active role involving standing, walking, lifting, and handling materials
Hands‑on work with copper piping, tools, and production equipment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Moline, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
