Aerotek Forklift Operator in East Moline, Illinois
Forklift Operator – $17-18/hr
Join our growing team in a fast‑paced warehouse environment focused on container and racking management. Our Davenport facility handles both racks and totes, offering consistent work and opportunities to build your skills on multiple types of forklifts and warehouse equipment.
Primary Responsibilities
Forklift Operation (Main Focus)
Safely operate a forklift to load and unload trucks , move materials, and stage product.
Perform pallet handling, stacking, and safe transport throughout the warehouse.
Follow all safety procedures and successfully pass an on-site forklift skills test.
Warehouse Support
Assist with loading totes into the wash system and unloading cleaned containers.
Sort, stage, and scan totes using hand scanners for tracking and inventory.
Remove manufacturer labels and tags on inbound product.
Read and follow shipping paperwork to ensure the correct containers are sent out.
Container Handling & Light Repair
- Use basic hand tools (drills, screwdrivers) to complete simple repairs on plastic containers ranging from 2x2 ft. to 8x8 ft.
Required Qualifications
At least 6 months of recent forklift experience (stand‑up or sit‑down).
Ability to lift to 50 lbs .
Ability to stand for the full shift.
Willingness to work up to 10 hours of overtime , including Saturdays .
Preferred Experience
Experience in warehouse operations, loading/unloading, shipping/receiving, or production.
Experience at facilities like XPAC is helpful due to similar product handling.
Work Environment
Fast‑paced warehouse setting with rotation between forklift work, staging areas, washing lanes, and repair zones.
Casual dress code + provided PPE.
Team‑oriented culture with a strong focus on safety.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
