Temper Rewind Operator
Location: East Longmeadow, MA
Pay: $21.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift Monday - Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm

What You’ll Be Doing
Operate horizontal electric controlled atmosphere furnaces and dry heat tempering furnaces
Run rewind equipment to harden, temper, and reverse wind coils
Verify coil ID tags and ensure prior operations are complete
Set feed rates, monitor machine speeds, and secure materials
Transport racks and load furnaces using an overhead hoist
Operate rewind machines and prepare coils for next steps
Record production data and maintain accurate documentation
Keep equipment and work area clean and organized
Report equipment issues or material defects to leadership
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
What We’re Looking For
Experience reading charts, specifications, and using micrometers ( required )
1–2 years of manufacturing or related experience ( preferred )
Comfortable working with numbers, including decimals
Ability to lift, push, or pull 5–25 lbs
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
