Machine Technician Vacuum Forming Level 1 plays a crucial role in maintaining the molding production process. They utilize their skills and knowledge performing operating tasks and performing basic setup and troubleshooting on the Vacuum Former with the goal of delivering high quality products to our customers.
What You'll Do as a Machine Technician Vacuum Forming Level 1
Safely load rolls of vacuum form material using a crane hoist with tilt lock roll handler, ensuring proper material feed.
Perform equipment and process adjustments to achieve quality and productivity standards.
Inspect Vacuum formed parts before sending them to conveyer, or pallets
Use portable scale to maintain accurate counts
Operates the stretch wrapper to secure and protect loads
Completes production paperwork, quality records and transfer tickets.
Complete set up process including installing the mold, die, and stacker for each job
Connects air and water lines to mold, sets machine parameters to regulate temperature, pressure, dwell time, etc. and makes other adjustments to establish process control
Sets up die cutting press and stacker for vacuum formed parts, adjusts die when necessary to ensure cut for proper quality of production
Uses a forklift to position the assembled mold and die into the vacuum former.
We're Looking for a Machine Technician Vacuum Forming Level 1 with:
Previous Molding experience
Forklift Certification
Knowledge of Vacuum Forming
Experience with basic setup and troubleshooting on the Vacuum Former.
Understanding and experience using portable scales
Previous experience using a crane hoist with tilt lock roll handler

Our manufacturing Plant is comprised of enclosed office and manufacturing space. This position requires the ability to:
Move throughout the entire facility to attend to various issues
Work effectively in teams across functional groups with strong communication skills
Lift and transfer materials weighing up to 25 pounds frequently
Bend, reach shoulder height, push and pull
Machine Technician Vacuum Forming Level 1 position is located on-site in our East Longmeadow Facility
