Transportation Research Center, Inc. Test Engineer II in East Liberty, Ohio
Job Duties: Develop and implement automation workflows and testing tools to drive the efficiency and accuracy of Autonomous Vehicle testing. Architect and implement automation solutions to enhance software test and analysis workflows. Design, develop, and deploy innovative testing tools that empower the Autonomous Vehicle testing team to achieve advanced testing capabilities. Maintain high code quality standards through rigorous code reviews and proactive enforcement of best practices within a complex codebase. Debug and resolve test-related failures and contribute to the root cause analysis of system-related failures. Identify missing or untestable requirements, gaps in design and incomplete implementation. Communicate test plans, proposals, non-conformances, and project status to internal and external customers. Learn customer test objectives, ensure test objectives are well defined, communicate objectives to test teams and adjust tests plans around constraints. Engage in end-to-end vehicle sensing and perception sensor testing, at a high efficiency. Ownership/strong foundation of specific testing categories starting from mining the data to final automation.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field, plus 5 years' experience in developing and implementing critical software automation workflows and testing tools using Python coding, machine learning, test scripting, software optimization, and SQL scripting.
