CTG SAP BRF+ Consultant (S/4HANA, IS-U Utilities) in East Lansing, Michigan
We are seeking an experienced SAP BRF+ Consultant to support the design, configuration, and integration of business rules within an SAP S/4HANA IS-U Utilities environment. The ideal candidate will have strong BRF+ and ABAP expertise, along with hands-on experience in utilities processes and rule migration from legacy systems.
Location: East Lansing, MI
Duration: 11 months
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement BRF+ applications for complex business rules in SAP S/4HANA
• Translate regulatory, pricing, and operational requirements into BRF+ rules, functions, and decision tables
• Integrate BRF+ with ABAP, S/4HANA core processes, and SAP IS-U modules
• Support migration of legacy ECC/IS-U custom logic into BRF+-based solutions
• Optimize BRF+ frameworks for performance, governance, and reusability
• Ensure alignment with SAP clean core and extensibility best practices
• Support utilities processes such as billing, invoicing, and rule-based decisioning
Required Skills:
• Strong experience with SAP BRF+ design, configuration, and rule modeling
• SAP S/4HANA and IS-U Utilities integration experience
• ABAP development and debugging expertise
• Experience with decision tables, expressions, and rule optimization
• Knowledge of utilities industry processes and regulatory requirements
• Experience migrating ECC/legacy rules to S/4HANA BRF+ solutions
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Dunning by Collection Strategy in utilities environments
• Strong performance tuning and governance of BRF+ rule frameworks
Experience:
• Hands-on SAP BRF+ implementation experience in S/4HANA environments
• SAP IS-U Utilities project experience strongly preferred
• Experience working in large-scale SAP transformation or migration programs
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
