Make a difference every day. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you’ll provide direct care and community-based support to individuals with developmental and physical disabilities, helping them live safe, independent, and meaningful lives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide hands-on direct care and daily living support (ADLs)
Support medical and healthcare needs, including appointments and follow-through
Implement behavior support plans and habilitation programs
Promote community integration, independence, and quality of life
Support meals, special diets, and safety procedures
Overnight roles complete hourly safety checks
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
3–6 months related experience or Human Services training
Valid CT Driver’s License
Ability to obtain DDS Medication Certification, CPR & First Aid
Pay
$18.12/hr → $18.54/hr
+$0.50/hr with DDS Medication Certification
