ManpowerGroup Packaging Operator in East Durham, New York
Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Packaging Operator to join their team. As a Packaging Operator, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the packaging process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Packaging Operator
Location: East Durham, NY
Pay Range: 24.75/hr
Shift: 12-hour shifts, 2/2/3 rotation, 7:00pm-7:00am
What's the Job?
Operate state-of-the-art fully automated toothpaste packaging lines at speeds up to 450 tubes per minute
Handle packaging materials including cases, cartons, shippers, labels, caps, and pallets
Maintain cleanliness of the work area and equipment to ensure safety and quality standards
Perform autonomous maintenance activities to optimize line performance
Assist maintenance technicians with preventive maintenance tasks and conduct inventories of packaging supplies
What's Needed?
High school diploma or GED
Ability to work 12-hour shifts with every other weekend off
Basic computer skills including data entry, email, and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to routinely lift up to 55 pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
Willingness to work overtime as needed to support business operations
