SUMMARY The Maintenance Tech I maintains and repairs physical structures of the resort and public areas, including exteriors and pedestrian travel ways. This position also maintains, and repairs equipment as needed, performs basic carpentry, assists in managing rubbish and snow removal as well as the following essential duties and responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, other duties may be assigned)
Accepts and closes out maintenance work orders.
Assists other departments as requested including assessing and repairing equipment that is essential to the function of the workspace.
Operates snow removal equipment to maintain safe walking surfaces for staff and guests on walkways and stairs.
Assists in the performance of property inspections with attention to detail.
Ensures safety and emergency protocols are followed in the carrying out of all duties
Maintain effective, open & professional communication with all departments and guests.
Maintains good working relationships with vendors.
Other duties as assigned, which could be related or unrelated to original position.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
