SUMMARY of Position Maintains kitchen work areas, restaurant equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties in the designated spaces using the appropriate tools and machinery.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, other duties may be assigned)
Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine throughout service hours.
Washes pots, pans, and trays.
Sweeps and mops kitchen floors and stairs.
Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks and keeps F&B stairwells clean and free of debris.
Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers - taking care of compost, trash and recycling at the end of service.
Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
Sorts bottles, and breaks disposable ones in bottle crushing machine.
Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth.
Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
Runs dishes from pit to Tamarack line and back.
Maintain all resort walkways and stairs throughout Tamarack Service
Other duties as assigned by supervisor, which could be directly related, or unrelated to original position.
