Job Title: Warehouse Associate Job Description
Join a dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate, where you will play an essential role in managing the flow of goods within our facility. Your responsibilities will include receiving and put-away of inbound freight, picking and shipping customer orders, and ensuring efficient product distribution to and from manufacturing areas. You will also maintain a clean and organized warehouse stocking area in accordance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
Receive and tag items in the warehouse with barcode labels, pallet tags, allergen stickers, etc.
Ensure stocked items are organized, allergen-separated, and readily accessible.
Examine inventory items for defects or damage and report to Inventory Control Department.
Report quality defects of ingredients to the Quality Control Team.
Ensure FIFO/FEFO rotation is followed.
Maintain a clean and well-maintained warehouse stocking area, adhering to safety rules.
Essential Skills
Knowledge of RF scanning systems.
Experience operating reach trucks and hi-lows.
Understanding of FIFO system.
Ability to work off pick lists and system-driven reports.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to build excellent working relationships and collaborate efficiently.
Detail-oriented with mathematical acumen.
Understanding and application of safety rules and regulations.
Proficiency in using warehouse equipment like reach trucks, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
Exhibit self-motivation, confidence, and energy.
Ability to operate under pressure and multi-task effectively.

Work Environment
Work the 3rd shift (11pm-7am) in a diverse environment including dry, refrigerated, and freezer conditions. Regularly work near moving machinery and mechanical parts, and occasionally in high places or exposed to wet/humid conditions. The noise level is usually moderate. Products manufactured may contain peanuts, milk, and tree nuts. Employees must be capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with specific vision requirements.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Brunswick, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.50/hr.
