The Opportunity

We are seeking a high-energy Business Development Manager to drive growth of our drug testing device portfolio across safety-critical industries.

This is a true hunter role, focused on identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities. You will work autonomously in the field, engaging customers in industries where risk mitigation, compliance, and workforce safety are critical, including mining, construction, transport, and industrial sectors.

You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to close, building a strong and sustainable pipeline of new customers across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities nationwide

Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through self-generated lead

Conduct on-site customer meetings, product demonstrations, and trials

Engage with key stakeholders including safety managers, operational leaders, HR, and procurement

Manage the full sales cycle

Consistently meet or exceed new business revenue targets

Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and opportunity management in Salesforce

Collaborate with internal teams to support customer onboarding and ongoing needs

Support sales administration activities including pricing, quotations, and order processing

Establish and maintain trusted relationships within safety-critical industries

Minimum skills requirement

Proven B2B sales experience within health and safety, industrial, or regulated

environments

Demonstrated success in new business development and territory growth

Strong prospecting and pipeline-building capability

High resilience, persistence, and a competitive mindset

Confidence engaging senior stakeholders in operational and safety-focused roles
