Job Title: Light Industrial Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Light Industrial Assembler who is skilled in mechanical assembly and can work efficiently using hand tools or air wrenches. The role involves utilizing a tape measure, performing production assembly, and lifting up to 35 lbs. You will operate a JIG/man lift to access parts on shelves, load and unload valves into assembly fixtures, and transport valves to workstations. You will work off blueprints and work instructions, use assembly/torque tools, conduct quality checks, retrieve replacement parts from the stockroom, install and remove bubble test fittings, and complete paperwork for assembly operations.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical assembly using hands or air wrenches.
Utilize a tape measure for precision tasks.
Conduct production assembly and lift up to 35 lbs.
Operate JIG/man lift to access shelves up to 4ft.
Load and unload valves into assembly fixtures.
Transport valves to workstations.
Work from blueprints and work instructions.
Use assembly and torque tools efficiently.
Conduct quality checks to ensure product standards.
Retrieve replacement parts from the stockroom.
Install and remove bubble test fittings.
Complete paperwork for assembly operations.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in mechanical assembly.
Experience in production environments.
Skillful use of hand and power tools.
Ability to read and work from blueprints and schematics.
Attention to detail.
1 year of recent manufacturing experience with related job in the last 3 months.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Manual assembly experience preferred.
Experience with air ratchet wrenches, manual wrenches, pliers, and clamps.

Work Environment
You will work in a climate-controlled environment that may be oily due to the nature of the product. Shifts available are 1st shift (7am-3:30pm), 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm), and 3rd shift (11pm-7:30am). Training is provided on the first shift for 3 weeks. Enjoy two 10-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch. The dress code includes khakis, dickies, or blue jeans, and t-shirts without offensive language. No jewelry or watches are allowed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of EASLEY, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr.
