Job Description
The salary for this position starts at $20.00 hourly. We take into consideration an individual’s background and experience in determining salary; therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of other benefits and earned time off that vary depending on part-time or full-time status.
Job Summary:
Vikings NFL FLAG Site Coordinators are responsible for the following:
Arrive before team practices to set up fields, head table, and other equipment
Direct players, coaches, parents and officials to their correct practice and game fields
Troubleshoot any potential roster and scheduling issues
Collect and report final scores from each set of games
Clean up fields, head table, and other equipment following the conclusion of games
Attend weekly virtual meetings during the season
Candidates must be available to work on the following dates during the Spring 2026 season (all Sundays):
April 12
April 19
April 26
May 3
May 10
May 17
- Essential Functions:
Assists in the implementation of sports programs which may include organizing, delivering and administering sports leagues, recreation programs and activities.
Ensures a high level of customer service which enhances the member, program participant and guest experience and satisfaction.
Assists in managing the day to day programing to ensure revenue, program goals, and expense targets are achieved.
Delivers sports programs directly to members and participants a portion of the time.
Provides work direction to sports staff when appropriate.
May assist in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training and giving work direction to staff and volunteers.
- Relationships:
This position reports to the Sports Director/Sr. Sports Director who reports to the Executive Director. The incumbent works with branch and sports program teams, and other Association staff.
- Qualifications:
Required
Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in sports programs (preferably some experience or knowledge in football)
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage sports recreation program activities.
Knowledge of basic rules in sports recreation program activities.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Creative thinker with a history of applying innovation in programming.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build community relationships.
Basic skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel..
Ability to manage programs to a diverse population.
Preferred
Multi Lingual

Must be able to carry .
Ability to travel locally to YMCA branches and Vikings NFL FLAG sites.
