The Impact You Will Have
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of MN is seeking a Senior Enterprise Application Developer to join our Enterprise Applications Development Team. In this technology agnostic role, you will support and enhance vendor‑hosted solutions built on a variety of technologies, including Java and other proprietary frameworks. You will own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of internal tools and applications-from initial concept and MVP development through delivery, optimization, and ongoing enhancements. Additionally, you will serve as a key liaison between internal customers, business stakeholders, and the development team to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure solutions align with business goals.
Your Responsibilities
• Analyze, design, configure, debug, maintain new or existing SAP APM and Alfresco Document Management systems. • Work collaboratively on a daily scrum team with a scrum master, product owner, analysts, developers, and testers to iteratively deliver functional software to production. • Provide leadership for projects and products to ensure usability, usefulness, feasibility, and cost effectiveness. • Work with analysts and customers to establish product or project requirements. • Contribute innovative solutions while utilizing best practices, design standards, and governance. • Perform system administration activities including data loading, data migration/conversion, data clean-up tasks, system integration monitoring, etc. • Research technology trends and contribute to designs and platform decisions. • Mentor, lead, train other team members. • This job may include on-call duties.Required Skills and Experience
• 5+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered. • Cloud Service Provider Certification (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, etc.) - required within 1 year of employment • Essential Candidate Qualities: ○ Creative thinking, strong communication skills, creativity, curiosity, self-motivated, time managements skills • Strong configuration and administration experience with: ○ SQL, AWS Lamda, Java • Knowledge, experience, and familiarity with: ○ Python, JavaScript, React, Groovy • High school diploma (or equivalency) and legal authorization to work in the U.S.Preferred Skills and Experience
• Bachelor's Degree. • Experience with agile, DevOps, IT Service Management, and other development and support processes and methodologies. • In depth prototype design and implementation experience. • Experience with: ○ SAP, Alfresco • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and a proven track record of solving business problems with technical tools • Experience using AI models to streamline workflows, analyze data patterns, or optimize reporting logicCompensation and Benefits:
Pay Range: $102,400.00 - $138,300.00 - $174,200.00 Annual
Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
