Job Description:

Our Global Logistics and Distribution business unit provides comprehensive logistics services and warehousing solutions utilizing a global network of distribution centers, innovative technology and supply chain expertise to manage the flow of goods from receiving to storage and order processing to shipment.
Job Summary:
This position supervises and coordinates terminal warehouse operational activities, audits training and safety records, and assists in meeting financial goals through reporting and cost reviews. He/She ensures the safety and productivity of employees in a time-sensitive market and ensures performance goals are met, maintains inventory accuracy, adheres to quality standards, and effectively manages staff. This position supervises employees who oversee inbound flow, inventory control, and outbound flow activities and supervises operational efficiency to ensure work completion in an operational area.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates freight sorts and loads.
Supervises freight dispatch routes and scheduling.
Conducts Freight Forwarding operations and safety training.
Coordinates Freight Forwarding administrative functions.
Schedules and supervises dock employees daily activities.
Plans for changes (e.g., routing changes, left over freight, left over cargo, etc.) to ensure appropriate equipment and personnel are available for loading and unloading customer goods.
Supervises truck build-up and breakdowns to ensure freight is properly staged and loaded.
Completes daily reports to identify productivity costs and service issues.
Responds to customer calls (e.g., damaged goods, storage fees, etc.) to resolve issues.
Supervises audit activities to meet compliance procedures results for customs and internal audits.
Evaluates work areas for potential hazards and determines space allocations to ensure the existence of a safe, clean work environment.
Qualifications:
Logistics experience - Required
Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
Experience working in freight operations - Preferred
Knowledge of the Supply Chain and Transportation industry - Preferred
Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself - Required
Working Hours: Monday through Friday from 10AM to 8PM. Flexibility required.

Pay Range:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $74,160.00/year to $120,480.00/year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
