Position: Farm Worker
Requirements: Job requires having or being able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Basic English literacy skills are required. Job will
require periods when workers may be exposed to varying weather conditions and extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, stooping,
bending, or repetitive movements. Random drug testing and criminal background checks may occur post-hire at the employers
expense. These checks may be performed to ensure safe housing and work environments for all workers. Positive drug test results or
refusal to comply with testing may result in termination of employment. If the employer discovers a criminal conviction record or status
as a registered sex offender that the employer reasonably believes, consistent with current law, will impair the safety and living
conditions of other workers, the employer may terminate the worker (foreign and/or domestic) with notification to OFLC and DHS in
accordance with 20 CFR 655.122(n).
Job Description: Job requires the operation of various tractors and farm equipment to plant, irrigate, fertilize, spray, cultivate, harvest, and transport crops to elevator or storage area. Equipment that workers may be required to operate
includes, but is not limited to, tractors with various implements, equipment that utilizes GPS and auto-guidance systems, sprayers, combines, back-hoes, mowers, and track-hoes. Non-CDL farm trucks will be loaded with
agricultural products and driven on the farm and to storage facilities. Job requires loading seed into planters; properly mixing chemicals; loading chemicals into sprayers; changing combine cutting heads; rouging fields and
using hand tools to remove undesirable plant varieties, trash, and other objects from fields; performing general maintenance, repairs and/or clean-up of storage sheds, pivot points, buildings, and all farm equipment; ensuring
operational areas are organized and well maintained; using hand tools and equipment to repair, clean and maintain farm vehicles, machinery and specialized machinery and agricultural equipment; and regularly servicing
equipment.
Job duties include operating and maintaining a variety of farm equipment such as tractors, skid steers, loaders, and feeding machinery to support daily livestock and facility operations. Job duties include moving, sorting, and
handling cattle using low-stress livestock handling practices; assisting with branding activities, including safely restraining cattle, applying identification marks, and maintaining a clean and organized work area; and doctoring
cattle by observing herd health, administering basic treatments as directed, and reporting signs of illness or injury. The worker will transport water using vehicles and equipment to supply livestock, routinely check and monitor
livestock water sources to ensure adequate availability and proper function, and perform general fence-line maintenance by removing thistles and other noxious weeds from fences and surrounding areas to maintain safe
enclosures and promote pasture health. Livestock health must be monitored daily, with signs of illness or injury identified and addressed promptly. Medications and supplements are administered as needed, and support is
provided during veterinary visits by gathering and restraining animals, preparing treatment areas, and recording health information. Fly and pest control measures include regularly spraying cattle with appropriate treatments
to reduce the impact of flies and other external parasites, especially during warm months.
There are few typical days and workers may be required to change duties and/or locations often and engage in various general f nctions. Daily duties may vary depending on crop, weather, and field conditions. The employer
reserves the right to increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely based on the discretion of the employer.

Schedule: M-Thur, 9 hours, Fri-Sat 8 hours, 8a-5p
