We are currently seeking a Application Management Specialist to join our team in Durham, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).

  • Develop and support using NTT DATA’s proprietary technologies and methodologies, including NTT Business Management System, NTT Support Operations Model (SOM), V-Process Model for the Software Development Life Cycle, Software Quality Assurance Methodology (QATlyst), and NTT Defect Management System (DMS).

  • Develop, monitor, and support application solutions using NTT DATA Services’ premier automation tools like GM1/Resolution Automation, Incident Navigator, and AFTE to enhance operational efficiency.

  • 5+ years of experinace in Creating and maintain solutions using tools such as Edifecs, Java Script, Node JS, Java to improve customer experience and service quality. Develop and maintain code in Java, SQL, and QM Queries.

  • Interact with business users and clients to propose solutions for existing problems or bugs, manage expectations, and offer experienced recommendations on system enhancements, ensuring continuous improvement using NTT proprietary tools and processes.

  • Support and monitor bots and applications using NTT DATA’s AFTE Command Center tool, PowerBI Dashboards to ensure continuous system performance and to restore services for end users as needed.

  • Align with NTT DATA’s Support Model, including Change Management, Incident Management, and Problem Management, ensuring integration with Client’s Service Management Processes.

  • Collaborate with Quality Analysts to ensure successful system and acceptance test signoffs for code promotion. Assist with business use cases following NTT DATA’s Software Quality Assurance Methodology (QATlyst).

  • Adhere to NTT customized processes for delivering customer SLAs, ensuring consistent service delivery and issue resolution.

  • Research, analyze, debug, and modify programs to ensure technical accuracy, reliability, and performance.

  • Manage system software upgrades, including planning, scheduling, coordination, and deployment, ensuring minimal disruption.

  • Provide L2 (RCA/Research) and L3 (Code fix/testing) support for business-related applications and automations, ensuring efficient resolution of issues.

  • Conduct root cause analysis, provide immediate fixes for production issues, and drive toward permanent solutions.

  • Create automated status and financial reports using PowerBI. Document system processes, including design, test plans, issue logs, and project artifacts.

  • Generate daily financial and balancing reports and monitor checklist activities to ensure financial compliance.

  • Provide estimations, high-level design documentation, and engage in project meetings to discuss issues, solutions, and progress.

  • Coordinate with offshore teams and business users to ensure timely project delivery. Represent the team in client and project status meetings, as well as during Major Incident resolution, ensuring clear communication and resolution of issues.

  • Create and execute test cases for business/user, functional, and technical requirements to ensure software quality and functionality.
