ManpowerGroup Operations Assistant in Durham, North Carolina

Our client, a surgical tissue simulation lab, is seeking a Production Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Technician

Location: Durham, NC

Pay Range: $22 per hour

Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

  • Receive materials into inventory using established processes and ensure complete transactional accuracy.

  • Pull and issue materials to production lines according to pick lists and material requests in a timely manner.

  • Restock production lines and designated areas to maintain continuous production flow.

  • Thaw tissue and prepare materials according to pick lists and required timelines.

  • Pick up and return materials from production areas, ensuring proper movement and accurate system documentation.

  • Perform tissue planning and derinding processes in accordance with specifications.

  • Complete SAP allocations, confirmations, and work order transactions.

  • Support physical material movement in both ambient and cold environments.

  • Assist with cycle counting and inventory accuracy activities.

  • Document work and assist in identifying root causes of transactional or material discrepancies.

  • Follow standard work procedures with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve performance, efficiency, and communication.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What's Needed?

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and/or Smartsheet.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience in manufacturing or material handling.

  • Prior material handling experience (1+ years).

  • Ability to write basic correspondence.

  • Ability to identify and suggest simple process improvements.

  • Strong problem‑solving and solution-oriented mindset.

  • Experience with SAP or similar work order systems.

  • Agile experience (preferred).
