ManpowerGroup Operations Assistant in Durham, North Carolina
Our client, a surgical tissue simulation lab, is seeking a Production Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Production Technician
Location: Durham, NC
Pay Range: $22 per hour
Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
What's the Job?
Receive materials into inventory using established processes and ensure complete transactional accuracy.
Pull and issue materials to production lines according to pick lists and material requests in a timely manner.
Restock production lines and designated areas to maintain continuous production flow.
Thaw tissue and prepare materials according to pick lists and required timelines.
Pick up and return materials from production areas, ensuring proper movement and accurate system documentation.
Perform tissue planning and derinding processes in accordance with specifications.
Complete SAP allocations, confirmations, and work order transactions.
Support physical material movement in both ambient and cold environments.
Assist with cycle counting and inventory accuracy activities.
Document work and assist in identifying root causes of transactional or material discrepancies.
Follow standard work procedures with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve performance, efficiency, and communication.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
What's Needed?
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and/or Smartsheet.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Valid driver’s license.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ year of experience in manufacturing or material handling.
Prior material handling experience (1+ years).
Ability to write basic correspondence.
Ability to identify and suggest simple process improvements.
Strong problem‑solving and solution-oriented mindset.
Experience with SAP or similar work order systems.
Agile experience (preferred).
