Serves as a technical expert to internal and external stakeholders, including customers and sales and marketing professionals. Provides technical support in the development and application of new products. Contributes technical expertise toward the development of sales and marketing materials.
Technical Service
Provides technical expertise to customers in the areas of product development and application, processing techniques and problem resolution. Serves as a technical expert to sales professionals, distributors, customers and other internal/external partners. Helps translate product data into effective sales and marketing tools. Assists with regulatory and environmental product issues, product improvements, positioning of existing product offerings and new business product developments.
Experienced technical professional with in-depth knowledge in a specialized technology area and focused applications, responsible for completing complex experiments requiring interpretation and analysis. (Typical entry point for PhD hires.)
Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own technology discipline to formulate programs and create solutions for customers and other stakeholders.
Understands the products and competencies across a business segment.
Guides, trains and develops others, leading teams and coaching colleagues to solve complex problems.
Leads and/or contributes to multiple projects to develop solutions, drive business adoption of technology and meet customer needs.
May lead specific technical segments in larger R&D programs.
Suggests/creates innovations, applying tested ideas or methods from other areas
Solves complex problems independently; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
Education
- Degree's in Electrical, Mechanical, Material or Chemical preferred.
