The Therapy Services Coordinator is responsible for supporting the therapy department's effectiveness and efficiency to program development, quality improvement, and contributing to the delivery of cost-effective care. This position contributes to problem solving to enhance the department and therapist productivity along with providing quality customer service to the patients and families. This position also complies with the ethical and professional standards of practice and work under the direction and guidance of licensed therapy providers. The targeted pay range for this job is $21.50- $25.00 per hour. Learn more at https://www.ecumen.org/find-a-career/benefits/ Essential Job Responsibilities: Collaborates with the therapists and therapy manager to schedule therapy sessions, communicates with patients and families as needed for upcoming appointments, communicates to IDT and provides appropriate patient transportation in the facility to and from therapy and wellness activities as directed. Assists with patient scheduling, administrative tasks, and maintains the treatment environment and equipment ensuring the therapeutic space is safe and in operating order. Assists therapists in patient-related activities, such as treatment setup/preparation, assisting with transfers and standing activities, and patient observation. Performs routine, standardized exercises with patients or residents individually or in an exercise group as directed by a therapist. Ensures therapeutic equipment is ready for use by performing scheduled cleaning of equipment, reporting any unsafe conditions, keeping equipment area organized, and carrying out all infection control protocols keeping the environment safe for patient use. Performs other duties as assigned.
