Job Summary
The Retail Programs Coordinator leads the coordination and execution of key retail initiatives that support operational consistency, revenue growth, and customer engagement across all True North Goodwill locations. This position provides centralized oversight of retail communication platforms, new goods operational programs, customer loyalty initiatives, pricing updates, and store-level training support.
Working in close partnership with Retail Leadership, Regional Managers, Marketing, and Store Teams, this role ensures retail programs are deployed accurately, executed consistently, and aligned with organizational goals. The Retail Programs Coordinator plays a critical role in strengthening retail performance while advancing mission impact.
Duties and Responsibilities
Partner with Retail Leadership to maintain and update power bi data to our communication platforms (including Skykit) to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent in-store messaging.
Coordinate new goods operational programs, including allocation tracking, communication, execution standards, and compliance with merchandising guidelines.
Support the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of customer loyalty and customer engagement programs across all retail locations.
Partner with Retail Leadership to execute pricing updates, promotional rollouts, and seasonal initiatives with accuracy and consistency.
Develop and distribute training materials, quick-reference guides, and program documentation to support store-level execution.
Collaborate with Regional Managers and Store Managers to monitor adherence to program standards and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
Maintain tracking tools and reporting related to new goods performance, promotional execution, loyalty participation, and retail program effectiveness.
Support cross-functional coordination between Retail Operations, Marketing, E-Commerce, Accounting, and Logistics to ensure alignment of strategy and execution.
Identify process improvement opportunities that enhance efficiency, clarity, and store-level performance.
Prepare and present retail program performance updates and recommendations to senior leadership.

Education and Experience
Required
3+ years of experience in retail operations, merchandising, or multi-store program coordination.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives and execute with attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
Ability to travel periodically to retail locations to support implementation and training.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience in multi-location retail or nonprofit retail environments.
Experience working with retail communication systems, merchandising programs, or customer loyalty platforms.
Working Conditions
Combination of office-based and field-based work, including visits to retail stores and support locations. Occasional travel within the service area and flexibility to support time-sensitive retail initiatives.
