Ready to apply? We currently have an opportunity for a Merchandising Coordinator (fashion/apparel) - maurices to join our team located at our Corporate Office-maurices-Duluth, MN 55802.

Position Overview:

The Merchandise Coordinator is responsible for consistent operational support in the merchandising area including running weekly reports, purchase order maintenance, cross functional communication, and sample maintenance & tracking . The Merchandise Coordinator generally supports multiple categories within a department .

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Functions  

  • Orchestrating digital weekly reports to disperse to cross functional partners  

  • Maintaining cross functional reporting needs 

  • Write up new orders and work closely with PO Coordinator to place in system while maintaining current purchase orders and balancing back to workbooks 

  • Sample turn-in for photography, visual , photo shoot , etc.  

  • Receiving and organizing mail 

  • Organizing the weekly best/worst wall by printing tags and gathering samples  

  • Weekly review of the website to ensure all product information is correct from the copy to the photography  

    Collaboration  

  • Work closely with the merchant team to ensure they have all the correct reporting and sample/ submit organization for key milestone meetings  

  • Communicate with vendors on selling, product approval process, and trade compliance   

  • Collaborate with the visual team to ensure samples needed to accurately reflect the merchant product strategy for all channels are turned-in and accurate

    Product Knowledge  

  • Gain understanding of our target customer and how we can support her omni channel needs  

  • Understanding of Product Life Cycle calendar and deliverables  

  • Utilize cross-functional resources to expand knowledge of integrated product team 

    Education/ Skills and Experience Req uirements :

    Education:   

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred  

    Experience:   

  • Previous retail experience preferred

  • Strong organizational skills  

  • Persistent curiosity to learn & understand beyond what is explicitly directed 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication  

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment  

  • Attention to detail; this role requires someone who operates with a high level of accuracy 

  • Team player who can work with multiple cross-functional teams with a positive attitude 

  • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and be self-motivated   

  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, & Excel, systems savvy

Pay Range:

Hourly: $20.00 - $24.00

This position is eligible for an annual incentive compensation based on company performance.
