Job Summary
The Materials Supervisor coordinates, supervises, and participates in the daily work activity of the Warehouse Specialists in the inventory warehouse(s) including shipping and receiving, picking of parts for jobs and work orders, organizing the inventory in the stockroom per company Standard Operating Procedures and responsible for the accuracy of the on-hand inventory data.

Mon-Fri; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Directly supervises employees in assigned warehouse(s)
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws
Responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training, assigning and directing work, performance appraisals, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems
Builds, motivates, and retains a team that consistently meets deadlines
Manage and supervises the inventory transaction processes to ensure inventory accuracy and timeliness
Confers and advises departments and project personnel on inventory or inventory management related issues
Coordinate the generation of pick tickets, cycle counting sheets, and is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the on-hand inventory count
Prepares statistical and information reports on material condition and warehouse activities
Maintain the stockroom, material storage and handling areas for assigned product categories
Maintain the securing of the receiving dock and stockroom
Shipping/Receiving, picking parts, inventory organization, cleaning of responsible areas
Assist accounting staff by reviewing appropriate operating variances as requested
Basic safety and risk awareness, and taking actions to reduce or eliminate such risks or hazards
Works directly with the department leaders of production, program management, manufacturing planning, and engineering to communicate status of product
Maintaining assigned Standard Operating Procedures to keep alignment with process improvements or business changes
Maintain team member work routines and work schedules to achieve performance expectations
Qualifications

2 year degree and/or 3 years industry experience in ERP or MES operating systems
Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and effective communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to effectively manage stress, including competing work demands and multiple projects at the same time.
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to read, write and speak the English language.
