Adecco US, Inc. HR Coordinator Customer Service in Duluth, Minnesota

Adecco Creative & Marketing is looking for an HR Coordinator for an iconic American fashion retail brand's cooperate office in Duluth, MN . This assignment will be 6 months+ , and operating on a hybrid schedule. Please only local candidates apply. The payrange for this role is $20-23hr.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy HR Operations Coordinator to support a high-volume HR service environment. This role focuses on resolving employee and manager inquiries through case management, email, and voicemail follow-ups, rather than heavy live call handling.

The ideal candidate is calm, organized, and comfortable working across multiple systems while providing excellent customer service in a professional, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to employee, manager, and external inquiries via email, voicemail callbacks, and case management systems

  • Support HR-related processes including:

  • Employee data changes (compensation, profile updates)

  • Payroll and timekeeping inquiries

  • Onboarding and offboarding support

  • Benefits and general HR questions

  • Manage and document all inquiries within Workday (HR Service Management System)

  • Investigate and resolve issues in a timely manner; escalate more complex cases as needed

  • Assist with unemployment claims processing (Equifax) – moderate volume

  • Maintain and update employee records across HR systems

  • Provide light technical support and guidance to employees (system navigation, tools, testing support)

  • Partner with internal teams to ensure service levels and resolution timelines are met

  • Promote and guide employees to use self-service tools when appropriate

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong customer service skills with a professional and calm demeanor

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

  • Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment

Proficiency with:

  • Microsoft Outlook

  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

  • HR systems and databases

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Workday, ADP, or similar HRIS systems

  • Familiarity with timekeeping tools and payroll processes

  • Experience handling unemployment claims or background checks

  • Exposure to Cisco phone systems

  • Previous experience in HR operations, shared services, or support environments

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
