MiniMed is looking for a highly motivated Senior Principal IT Business Systems Analyst – SAP FICO responsible for delivering and supporting IT solutions within the Diabetes Business group. As a Principal SAP FICO Analyst, your role in the Digital Technology team is focused on designing and implementing solutions for the business using the SAP FICO platform in a fast-paced environment.
Successful candidate for this job must have strong understanding of financial and accounting modules such as GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank accounting, cash flow, and product costing. Must have a strong thorough knowledge of Order-To-Cash (OTC) and Procure-To-Pay (P2P) processes and their integrations with the finance modules. Candidate will ensure system implementation together with near-/offshore team members and collaborate with cross-functional business partners, domain architects, functional, technical and integration teams to define a solution and work towards implementing it. Candidate should have excellent problem-solving abilities, and a desire to continually learn and stay up to date with the latest SAP technologies. Additionally, they should have excellent communication and collaboration skills to work in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Experience as a leader in end-to-end global SAP implementation programs, responsible for designing and implementing the overall FICO solution.
Responsible for gathering and verifying business requirements.
Apply functional knowledge of SAP FI/CO/SD for analysis, design, configuration, modification, enhancement, testing, and support of complex IT systems.
Integrate ERP computer software applications in SAP for the automation of financial processes.
Business Process Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and identify areas for improvement.
System Design and Configuration: Design, configure, and test the SAP FICO module, ensuring integration with other SAP modules and legacy systems.
Project Management: Lead and manage SAP FICO projects, including upgrades and new implementations.
User Support and Training: Provide comprehensive training and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively use the SAP FICO module.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and any changes made.
Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues related to the SAP FICO module, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Collaboration: Work closely with other IT and business teams to ensure the SAP FICO module meets the organization’s needs.
Required Qualifications:
Requires 10+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of experience with an advanced degree or 12+ years of experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Thorough understanding of end-to-end business process, preferably in Lifesciences industry
In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO modules and their integration with other SAP modules.
Knowledge of SOX & U.S. GAAP & IFRS reporting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Project management experience, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Hands-on experience with SAP ECC 6.0 and or S/4HANA Financials including Product Costing, General Ledger, Asset Accounting & Asset Under Construction, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Bank integrations, Payments, Taxes, Month end processes with SAP group consolidation & SAC, and multi-companies & currencies
Experience as a leader in end-to-end global SAP implementation programs, responsible for designing and implementing the overall solution
Experience with interfacing applications such as OneStream for consolidation and TIS for bank connectivity
Familiarity with SAP security – Role based access and segregation of Duties
Should have project management experience in Waterfall, Agile and Activate methodologies
Strong leadership abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Medtronic experience.
SAP FICO certification is highly desirable.
Experience in Project System (PS) technical knowledge will be an added advantage
Knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks or other data platforms
Knowledge of third-party tools such as Paymetric (XiPay), Vertex,
Kofax Process Director, Documentum, HP ALM (Application Lifecycle Management; formerly HP Quality Center)
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$132,800.00 - $199,200.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Short Term Incentive (STI).
