Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support a virtual care team by managing incoming electronic and telephonic patient communications. This role focuses on triaging patient needs, assessing urgency, coordinating with physicians, and ensuring timely, accurate follow‑up. The ideal candidate is confident in clinical decision‑making, comfortable with technology, and experienced in fast‑paced or emergency care environments.
Key Responsibilities
Utilize telecommunications platforms to provide remote patient support and clinical guidance.
Review, prioritize, and manage incoming electronic patient messages and phone inquiries.
Determine acuity of patient needs based on message content and triage protocols.
Evaluate potential emergency situations and initiate appropriate nursing interventions or escalation.
Communicate and coordinate with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to resolve patient requests.
Schedule patient appointments as needed based on triage outcomes.
Document all interactions accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR).

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Active LPN license.
1–2+ years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in ER, urgent care, or a high‑acuity setting.
Strong assessment and critical‑thinking skills.
Comfortable working with telehealth platforms and digital communication tools.
Excellent communication skills and ability to make informed decisions quickly.
Ability to work independently in a remote or semi-remote environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Duluth, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
