Position Overview
As a Lead System Analyst, you will analyze, study, and implement new system solutions while leading a team of system analysts. You will monitor current processes and implement new solutions with the goal of improving overall business efficiency. In this role, you will prioritize user requirements, oversee system upgrades, research new tools, and provide support as required. You will work during normal business hours and be on-call after hours and during weekends on a rotation basis. You should be highly analytical, able to understand business needs, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Schedule: Full-time, M-F

Responsibilities
What you’ll do
Lead and mentor a team of system analysts.
Consult with end users to gather information related to new change requests, document business needs, analyze requirements, and determine if new software or modifications to existing software are needed.
Document software functional specifications as required.
Monitor the health of applications and ensure system stability.
Assist other system administrators by creating, editing, and distributing IT-related documents (FAQs and Help Guides).
Maintain documents containing procedures and best practices within the IT department.
Conduct training sessions and workshops on system processes and technical areas.
Devise solutions to address new change requests and issues.
Collaborate with other system analysts and administrators to resolve complex issues.
Manage the flow of incoming support requests and escalate to other IT specialists as required.
Provide support after hours and be on-call on a rotation basis.
Supervision Exercised
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
Qualifications you bring:
3-5 years of experience in a technical support or system analyst position.
Proven experience in a leadership role.
Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent preferred.
Computer certifications are a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office, Windows OS, Symantec, etc.
