Associates or Bachelors Degree within any scientific field
Lab experience with GC and/or LC chromatography & mass spectroscopy

Job Description
We are seeking a Laboratory Technician with experience in an analytical laboratory. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in GC and/or LC chromatography and be proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook within a laboratory environment. This position requires a detail-oriented individual capable of multitasking and completing tasks accurately and promptly.
Responsibilities
Comply with all quality, safety, housekeeping, and company policies.
Maintain appropriate documentation, including records and lab notebooks.
Perform routine sampling and analysis on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products following established methods.
Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and routine equipment calibration, including pH meters, DI water systems, and gas generators.
Prepare standards, sample solutions, and mobile phases as required by the test methods.
Generate results, conduct basic statistics, and apply SPC according to documented formulas and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Hands-on experience with GC and/or LC chromatography.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook within a laboratory setting.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents, procedure manuals, and operating instructions.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, supervisors, and co-workers.
Problem-solving skills with the ability to collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Duffield, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
