The Quality Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality. This position involves performing product audits on the production floor, supporting specification reviews, and communicating quality requirements effectively. The role is hands-on and collaborative, with a focus on product evaluations, supporting production teams, and maintaining documentation accuracy.
Responsibilities
Conduct product audits on the production floor.
Support specification reviews and communicate quality requirements.
Conduct and document test procedures including air, water, and structural testing.
Build and install test fixtures and prototypes.
Use measurement tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers to verify parts.
Collaborate with Quality Engineers, Operations, and OPD teams to resolve issues.
Participate in root cause investigations and corrective actions.
Maintain quality documentation and standard work instructions.
Assist with calibration and care of quality/test equipment.
Attend daily shift debriefs and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
Essential Skills
Strong computer skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/specifications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through.
Comfortable working on the production floor.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Technical degree or related education preferred.
Interest in long-term growth within Quality.
Familiarity with production tools (training provided).
Work Environment
A Quality Technician works in a fast-paced, highly collaborative production-floor environment, focusing on hands-on problem-solving and ensuring quality standards are met. The role involves a busy and physical setting with structured processes and tight timelines. The technician will work four 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday, with roles available on both first and second shifts. The first shift starts between 5-7 am and the second shift starts between 2:30-3 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
