Job Description
An exciting opportunity exists to join as a Knowledge Manager within the Marketing & Content unit of our Client Division. The successful candidate will be a curious and critical thinker eager to connect the dots across different pillars of the department with aims to encourage knowledge exchange, promote best practices and content sharing throughout the division where possible. This role directly links robust knowledge management practices with the desire to fuel a modern, high-performing M&C function and to significantly accelerate our strategic use and development of Artificial Intelligence.
You will work with a wide spectrum of teams including senior stakeholders to bring teams closer together and achieve better outcomes. Based in Dublin, this role will appeal to a highly motivated individual looking to leverage their strong relationship building and problem-solving skills.
Job Background/context:
We believe when knowledge is managed effectively, it acts as a powerful catalyst to propel a more efficient M&C team. Knowledge management is an important discipline where maximizing the usability of critical information and best practices across the organization will allow us to transform how M&C leverages its collective intelligence to drive innovation and measurable outcomes, which in turn delivers better client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Knowledge Discovery & Acquisition – data and knowledge inventory mapping including internal tacit knowledge harvesting from SMEs
Knowledge Structuring & Ontology Management - define standard taxonomies and ontologies. Metadata management by tagging knowledge with consistent metadata to improve AI discoverability and retrieval
Content & Knowledge Curation – governance and version control. Auto tagging and summarization. De-duplication and quality assurance of knowledge
Knowledge Sharing & Collaboration – provide intelligent knowledge portals with AI assisted recommendations and collaborative tools to support peer-to-peer knowledge exchange. Facilitate cross-domain knowledge exchange between repositories, collaboration tools and business units
Knowledge Access and Retrieval Optimization – enable AI-enhanced search to understand user intent, synonyms and financial context and that can personalize recommendations. APIs for knowledge access, allowing AI systems to query
Data lineage & Explainability – track where knowledge comes from, who has changed it and why, essential for AI transparency and auditability
Access Controls & Permissions – compliance aligned KM policies e.g. GDPR, MiFID II etc
AI Training & Feedback Loops – curating AI training using KM processes, knowledge informed fine tuning. Human in the loop feedback to enhance underlying knowledge assets
Change Management & Corporate Culture – help validate AI outputs. KM Champions and Networks to support adoption, training and awareness
Requirements:
3 – 5 years of experience in knowledge management, ideally in a large global financial organization
BSc or MSc degree in Finance or related subjects would be preferred
Proven experience in delivering project outcomes through dealing with multiple stakeholders and teams across the firm
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to address different priorities from teams
Experience in combining knowledge management and AI would be a big bonus
Working knowledge of SQL, visualization and BI tools
Strong organizational and project management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business requirements and turn them into actionable plans to executions
Excellent communication skills. Proven ability to explain technical content to non-technical audience
Great attention to detail is a must
