Your role and responsibilities
As an SAP Transformation and Business Development Leader within IBM Consulting, you will drive the origination and progression of large-scale SAP transformation programs, with a focus on RISE with SAP, S/4HANA Cloud adoption, and Intelligent Enterprise transformation.
You will engage in C-suite conversations, shaping strategic opportunities and positioning IBM’s SAP transformation capabilities in collaboration with IBM Consulting teams, SAP alliance partners, and hyperscaler ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive SAP Transformation Value Propositions
Lead the development of RISE with SAP and S/4HANA transformation opportunities, helping clients modernise their digital core, business processes, and cloud ERP platforms. Position IBM capabilities across SAP BTP, Signavio, SAP Analytics Cloud, and AI-enabled transformation.
Originate and Progress Strategic Opportunities
Identify and shape complex SAP transformation programs, including ECC to S/4HANA migrations, RISE with SAP cloud transformations, SAP landscape modernisation, and enterprise data platforms.
Engage C-Suite Stakeholders
Build trusted relationships with client transformation leaders, translating technology investments into measurable business outcomes such as operational efficiency, financial governance, and enterprise agility.
Collaborate Across the IBM-SAP Ecosystem
Work closely with IBM Consulting practices, SAP alliance teams, and hyperscaler partners to develop differentiated transformation propositions leveraging RISE with SAP (Private & Public Cloud), GROW with SAP, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
Grow Strategic Client Relationships
Expand IBM’s SAP pipeline by identifying opportunities for digital core transformation, process modernisation, analytics, and AI-enabled SAP innovation.
Required technical and professional expertise
• Deep Expertise in Transformational Value Propositions: Proven ability to develop and progress innovative solutions that drive significant business impact for clients, leveraging the breadth of organizational capabilities. • Experience with C-Suite Engagement: Established track record of engaging in high-level conversations with key client stakeholders to understand their needs and shape tailored value propositions that meet their strategic objectives. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work closely with various units and key alliance partners to leverage collective expertise and deliver comprehensive solutions that drive client success. • Innovative Solution Design: Skilled in designing and developing unique value propositions that differentiate the organization in the market and address the complex needs of strategic clients. • Strategic Market Understanding: Deep understanding of the market and competitive landscape, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and drive business development initiatives.
