WSP in the Middle East is currently hiring for an Interface & Stakeholder Manager – Aviation Projects to join our team in KSA/ UAE. The Interface & Stakeholder Manager will be responsible for managing all project interfaces across aviation‑sector stakeholders, including governmental authorities, airport operators, contractors, consultants, utility providers, and internal technical teams. The role ensures seamless coordination, clear communication, and the timely resolution of interface issues that may affect programme delivery. It also involves developing and implementing structured stakeholder engagement plans to maintain alignment, avoid conflicts, and support smooth project execution. The Manager will provide regular reporting to the Project Director, highlighting interface risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies critical to the success of the aviation programme.
Lead and manage all interface activities across aviation stakeholders (government bodies, airport operators, contractors, consultants, utilities, and internal teams).
Establish and maintain effective communication channels to ensure seamless coordination between all project parties.
Identify, track, and resolve interface issues that could affect project progress, technical delivery, or schedule performance.
Develop, implement, and maintain structured Stakeholder Engagement Plans to ensure alignment throughout all project phases.
Facilitate interface workshops, coordination meetings, and technical discussions with project stakeholders.
Liaise with regulatory authorities and airport operators to ensure compliance with aviation and infrastructure requirements.
Prepare regular interface status reports and provide interface‑risk updates to the Project Director and leadership team.
Maintain a comprehensive interface register, ensuring risks, dependencies, and actions are clearly documented and managed.
Support integration between design, procurement, and construction teams, ensuring all disciplines are aligned.
Promote a collaborative working environment across multidisciplinary teams
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a relevant field.
20+ years of experience in interface management, stakeholder management, or project coordination within large‑scale aviation or major infrastructure projects.
Experience working with airport authorities, regulatory bodies, or large PMC/consultancy organisations (highly preferred).
Strong technical understanding of aviation infrastructure, design processes, construction interfaces, and multi‑party coordination.
Proven track record resolving complex interface issues in fast‑paced project environments.
