Within this segment, Eaton has an opening for Global Program Engineer Manager - Digitalization. This role is a strategic, globally scoped position responsible for defining, deploying, and governing Eaton’s post‑order execution framework, PMO standards, and digital operating model across the Global Data Center Segment.
This role ensures consistent, predictable, and scalable execution of complex, multi‑region data center programs by establishing global governance, driving digital adoption, and enabling transparency across order execution, engineering, services, and regional delivery teams. The position serves as the single point of accountability for PMO governance and digitalization within the Global Data Center Segment and operates as a key partner to regional leaders, functional owners, and global program teams.
What you’ll do:
Global PMO Governance
Define and own the global PMO governance model for post‑order execution across all regions (Americas, EMEA, APAC).
Establish standardized program lifecycle frameworks, phase gates, escalation paths, and decision rights aligned with Eaton’s matrixed operating model.
Ensure governance rigor for large, complex, and multi‑site data center programs, including hyperscale and strategic customer engagements.
Act as the central authority for program health reviews, executive escalations, and cross‑regional issue resolution.
Digitalization & Tool Enablement
Lead the digital transformation of post‑order execution, driving adoption of standardized tools, dashboards, and digital workflows.
Define global requirements for program visibility, KPI reporting, risk management, and forecast accuracy.
Partner with Digital, IT, and functional teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Enable real‑time transparency for leadership through data‑driven insights and standardized reporting.
Execution Excellence & Performance Management
Define and govern global KPIs covering schedule adherence, cost performance, change management, execution risk, and customer commitments.
Drive consistency in program cadence, review rhythms, and performance metrics across regions.
Identify systemic execution gaps and lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve speed, predictability, and customer outcomes.
Support post‑mortems and lessons‑learned processes to institutionalize best practices globally.
Cross ‑ Functional & Regional Leadership
Operate as a trusted partner to Post Order, Engineering, Services, Supply Chain, Sales, and Regional Operations leaders.
Influence without direct authority in a highly matrixed, global organization.
Support organizational change management (OCM) for new governance models, tools, and ways of working.
Serve as a connector between global strategy and regional execution realities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Operations, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
+12 years of experience in program management, PMO leadership, or execution governance within complex, global organizations.
Experience using Salesforce in an enterprise or global environment to support strategic customers, complex program execution, and multi‑region reporting.
Skills:
Experience in data centers, mission‑critical infrastructure, power systems, or large‑scale capital projects.
Strong background in digital PMO tools, dashboards, and execution analytics.
Experience supporting or governing post‑order, delivery, or execution‑heavy environments.
Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, or scaled program management methodologies in industrial or infrastructure contexts.
Experience working in or with EMEA‑based global teams.
