Key job responsibilities
Lead ground-breaking initiatives that enable Amazon's expansion into new markets and business lines
Design and implement solutions that affect billions in global transactions across 200+ countries
Partner with senior leaders to navigate complex regulatory landscapes while maintaining Amazon's customer-first approach
Pioneer innovative approaches to financial compliance that scale across Amazon's ever-growing enterprise
Architect end-to-end solutions for complex regulatory challenges across international markets
Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders from C-suite to technical teams
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver transformative programs that balance compliance, efficiency, and customer experience
Identify emerging regulatory trends and proactively develop strategies to maintain Amazon's competitive edge
Basic Qualifications
6+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects
Experience demonstrating strong analytical abilities and confidence in the use of data
Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
Professional qualification (MBA, ACA, or equivalent)
Experience with GST/VAT compliance across APAC or EMEA regions
SOX 404 implementation expertise
Strong understanding of financial systems and accounting workflows
Background in retail/e-commerce
