Masonry Helpers perform physical tasks at construction sites. Duties include: cleaning and preparing sites; loading and unloading materials; using and operating hand and power tools such as air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small hoists, surveying equipment, and other instruments; digging trenches; erecting scaffolding; supporting excavation work; removing debris and waste; assisting skilled craft workers; controlling traffic near work zones; signaling equipment operators; reading instructions, plans, or specifications; and distributing materials, tools, and machinery as required. Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
