Our client, an online marketplace, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Brand Designer to join their team for this hybrid role based in Brooklyn, NY, and involves creating captivating visual content across various platforms. The position requires a flexible schedule, with work approximately 40 hours weekly on a temporary basis. Brand Designer Responsibilities:
Develop and produce engaging visual assets, including static images and motion graphics tailored for social media campaigns on platforms such as Meta and Pinterest.
Create animated content and incorporate video graphics, overlays, and effects optimized for social-first audiences.
Coordinate with creative teams to conceptualize and execute visual ideas aligned with paid social advertising strategies.
Curate and incorporate high-quality product and merchandise photography into static and video assets.
Stay informed on social media design trends and adapt them to enhance Etsy’s brand presence while maintaining consistent visual identity.
Brand Designer Qualifications:
Over 3 years of experience in graphic design and digital content creation, particularly for social media and within retail or fashion industries.
Strong understanding of social media landscape, including current content trends and platform best practices.
Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere) and Canva; familiar with Figma is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to create visually compelling digital designs and communicate effectively through visual storytelling.
Exceptional attention to detail with the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively within teams.
