Job Overview
As an Machine Operator, you are the engine of our production process. You'll be responsible for monitoring manufacturing equipment and ensuring every bottle meets our high standards for safety and quality. We aren't just looking for someone to push buttons; we want a team member who is engaged in improving our safety culture, delivery speed, and overall efficiency.
Responsibilities & Skills
Your shift will involve a mix of technical operation, problem-solving, and teamwork:
Equipment Mastery: Setup, start-up, adjust, and operate machinery. You'll handle proper shutdowns and changeovers to minimize downtime.
Quality Control: Monitor and record equipment performance. You'll ensure all products are prepared, mixed, and packaged to perfection.
Safety First: Ensure Food and Human Safety are your top priorities. You'll comply with all GMP, HACCP, and SQF standards and participate in PPE initiatives.
Maintenance & Upkeep: Identify and report complex mechanical issues to the maintenance team. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area throughout your shift.
Collaborative Leadership: Work alongside your team to solve problems, train new associates, and assist supervisors in identifying process improvements.
Documentation: Complete shift reports and interpret safety/operating manuals using Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
Qualifications & Requirements
We need a reliable professional who is physically capable and technically minded.
Experience: 1+ year in a brewery, food, or manufacturing environment. (Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, and GMP highly preferred).
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs repeatedly. You must be comfortable standing, climbing, bending, and twisting for extended periods.
Environment: Comfortable working in a variety of temperatures.
Technical Knowledge: (Preferred) Familiarity with pneumatic systems, industrial electricity, steam generation, or sanitary process piping.
Certifications: Must have---or be willing to obtain---a forklift license.
Availability: Specifically hiring for the Night Shift (10 PM -- 6 AM, possibly 6pm-6am).
