CNC Machinist
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to support precision manufacturing in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented work‑cell environment. This role involves setting up and operating a variety of CNC machine tools to produce high‑quality components while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. You’ll work with modern equipment including DMG Mori, Haas, and Okuma machines.
What You’ll Do
Set up and operate CNC machines to perform turning, drilling, milling, tapping, and resistance spot‑welding operations
Work from process sheets, blueprints, setup sheets/cards, machine status boards, and verbal or written instructions
Download, upload, and adjust CNC programs as needed
Install, secure, and adjust tooling in machine turrets
Machine, install, or re‑cut chuck jaws as required
Make offset adjustments to compensate for material, tooling, or machine conditions
Perform advanced troubleshooting and implement corrective actions
Inspect your own work—and the work of others—to ensure compliance with quality and quantity standards
Complete inspection documentation and enter data into the ERP system
Set up and verify preset gauges for proper calibration
Operate multiple machines concurrently as required
Train and support less experienced machinists
Act as Team Lead when needed, including covering for absenteeism
Collaborate with supervisors, programmers, support teams, and new product development to resolve issues and support design‑for‑manufacturability initiatives
Support continuous improvement and RBS activities
Rotate between department work centers and perform additional duties as assigned
Load and unload parts weighing up to 25 lbs while maintaining a clean, safe work area
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of CNC machining experience
Strong ability to read blueprints and set up machines to specification
Experience working within tight tolerances
Comfortable working in a collaborative, team‑based manufacturing environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $34.00/hr.
