Oracle Principal Data Center Construction Schedule Manager in Dover, Delaware

Job Description

The Principal Data Center Construction Schedule Manager is responsible for overseeing all scheduling activities for a 1GW GoBig data center site, this pinnacle role ensures integrated project timelines, critical milestone management, and seamless cross-functional coordination from design through commissioning. The Principal Scheduler provides expert leadership in critical path scheduling, risk mitigation, and schedule recovery, driving on-time, on-budget delivery in one of OCI's most complex and high-impact projects. This position demands exceptional skill in schedule analysis and transparent reporting to maintain stakeholder accountability at every stage. Success in this role will set the standard for data center scheduling excellence and shape best practices for OCI’s future large-scale deployments.

This role is located in Saline, MI remote not available for this position.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and review the developer’s integrated master schedule for the 1GW GoBig data center site, ensuring alignment with OCI project objectives.

  2. Identify, assess, and communicate schedule risks that could impact project milestones, site readiness, or delivery capacity.

  3. Lead schedule risk analysis and scenario planning sessions with the developer, LV provider, and key stakeholders to proactively address potential obstacles.

  4. Monitor critical path and near-critical path activities, ensuring prompt attention to deviations and potential delays.

  5. Collaborate with the developer, LV provider, and internal teams to drive clarity, resolve schedule conflicts, and facilitate timely solutions.

  6. Govern compliance with OCI scheduling standards, reporting requirements, and change control processes from all stakeholders.

  7. Analyze and validate schedule data, providing executive-level reporting on status, risks, and mitigation recommendations.

  8. Facilitate governance meetings focused on schedule reviews, risk mitigation strategies, and accountability for action items.

  9. Ensure transparent communication of schedule-related risks, changes, and progress updates across all project stakeholders.

  10. Champion a culture of risk awareness, continuous improvement, and schedule discipline to enable on-time, on-budget project delivery.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Mentor and provide guidance to junior schedulers, project controls staff, and construction managers on scheduling best practices and risk identification.

  2. Support the professional development of internal and external stakeholders by sharing expertise in schedule analysis, reporting, and risk mitigation strategies.

  3. Lead training sessions or workshops to enhance schedule literacy and discipline among project team members, including developers and LV providers.

  4. Serve as a subject matter expert to advise stakeholders on complex scheduling challenges, facilitating problem-solving and continuous improvement.

  5. Promote cross-functional knowledge sharing by documenting lessons learned and fostering a culture of collaboration in schedule management and project delivery.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $120,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
