Observes and reports activities and incidents at the assigned site, ensuring the safety and security of personnel, visitors, and facilities. Conducts periodic patrols, on foot or by vehicle, to detect irregularities, safety hazards, unauthorized access, and to inspect security and fire protection equipment.Controls access to the site through established admittance procedures and escorts authorized individuals in restricted areas in accordance with security protocols. Maintains order and enforces site regulations and directives.Protects incident scenes and preserves evidence when required. Responds to emergencies including fire, medical incidents, security threats, hazardous materials, and adverse weather conditions, following established procedures.Completes logs and reports as required. Duties may vary based on operational needs, and additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
Job Requirements – Escort Agent (Tarmac)
With or without reasonable accommodation, candidates must be able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly.
The role may require occasional reaching with hands and arms, as well as stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
Candidates must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, including frequent movement on the tarmac, climbing stairs, and navigating inclines or uneven surfaces.
Physical requirements include frequently lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
Must meet and maintain all applicable security licensing requirements and hold valid access credentials required for restricted airport areas.

Provide safe escort of authorized individuals in restricted areas (tarmac)
Observe and report any activities or incidents
Ensure compliance with security procedures and access control regulations
Control access and escort visitors in accordance with established protocols
Conduct patrols on foot or by vehicle to detect irregularities and potential hazards
Maintain order and enforce site rules and regulations
Respond to emergency situations (fire, medical, security) in accordance with procedures
Protect incident scenes and preserve evidence when required
Complete reports and maintain required logs
Perform other related duties as assigned based on operational needs
Valid Security Guard License (BSP)
Valid First Aid / CPR certification (RCR)
Valid Red Card (Tarmac access)
Valid D/A Card
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
Ability to communicate clearly in English (French is an asset)
Strong observation and reporting skills
Ability to work independently and follow strict procedures
Flexible availability (on-call schedule)
Experience in security or airport environment is an asset
