Inside Sales Engineer (Full-time – Dordrecht)
Xylem continues to grow—also within our Inside Sales department! Are you able to identify customer needs and translate them into accurate, timely advice and quotations that create an excellent customer experience and maximize commercial opportunities? At Xylem, we offer you the chance to develop yourself in the world of water technology.
What will you do?
A customer calls with a question about “that new Xylem product.” You immediately recognize a sales opportunity. By analyzing the customer’s request, you prepare the right technical proposal to solve their challenge. This may involve pumps and components for wastewater pumping stations or pumps for transporting clean water—Xylem’s portfolio covers the full water cycle.
You ensure accurate quotations, specifications, lead times, and conditions, and you document all customer interactions in our CRM system. You coordinate closely with Inside Sales colleagues, Account Managers, and other departments. Your technical aptitude is essential: you analyze water-related problems and perform product-related calculations to design the best solution.
Inside Sales Team
Our Dordrecht location hosts around 150 employees. The Inside Sales team consists of 15+ colleagues who together manage Xylem’s technical sales process. We support each other, celebrate successes, and ensure customers receive the best technical and commercial proposals.

What you bring
Preferably a completed bachelor’s degree (commercial or technical)
Ideally 3 years of similar experience in a technical environment (motivated graduates also welcome)
Strong command of Dutch and English
A passion for sales, strong communication skills, customer focus, and a team-oriented mindset
