The Salvation Army Education Coordinator in Dorchester, Massachusetts

Overview

The Salvation Army’s Boston Kroc Center is hiring an Education Coordinator and offers excellent benefit package to eligible employees including:

    Location : Kroc Center Boston – 650 Dudley Street – Dorchester, MA

    Hours/week: Full-time, 40 hours per week

    Exemption: Non-Exempt

    Pay Range : $23 - $26 per hour*

    starting pay varies depending on experience and qualifications

  • Work Experience

  • Must have two to four years of progressive leadership experience in education. Classroom teaching and/or educational administration experience is preferred.

  • Must have at least two years of experience in developing, planning, managing and supervising education programs

  • Must have at least two years of experience developing and administering budgets for education programs.

  • Other Qualifications

  • The ability to supervise a professional staff consisting of individuals with varying experience, competency and cultural backgrounds.

  • Must have the ability to conduct workshops on a variety of education related topics.

  • Have excellent computer skills and competency with software such as Microsoft Office Applications and/or appropriate desktop applications and hardware such as computers, printers, projectors and smart boards.

  • High level of confidentiality, discretion and judgment.
