Insight Global Avionics Technician in Doraville, Georgia

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking Avionics Technicians in Atlanta, GA to join a rapidly growing aircraft manufacturer. Responsibilities will include:

Complete work order operations, quality buyoffs, and issuing hardware

Build mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies

Perform functional qualification testing and harness routing between kit assemblies

Proficiently use various mechanical tools

Maintain, troubleshoot, and install fluid and electromechanical components from a schematic or drawing

Work closely with engineers and leadership to develop and implement operational improvements focused on driving task times down and ease of repeatability

Rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment

Play a critical role in coordinated vehicle movements and integrated pressurized ground operations

The hourly pay range for this role is on average between $30-$50hr.

Skills and Requirements

Experience splicing cable, copper cables, and routing harnesses

Experience working in a flight development program

6+ years of experience with aircraft avionics

Experience transitioning parts/assemblies from the first article to production A&P license is preferred
