Dongguan Song Shan Lake Government Offices and Vanke Life Plaza. Covering an area of 200,000 square meters, it has a breathtaking lakefront view, making the location a paradise for both business and leisure.
JOB DESCRIPTION-GRO INTERN
Assists the Front Office team in daily operations and maintains good relationships with guests.
Liaises closely with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth daily operation.
Inspects all VIP, World of Hyatt members (Globalist and above), and target program guests’ rooms 100% prior to arrival, including cleanliness, amenities and facilities.
Greets VIP and long-stay guests upon arrival, and informs supervisors when necessary.
Assists guests during check-in, escorts VIP guests, and ensures all guest needs are fulfilled.
Proactively interacts with guests to offer assistance; supports Front Desk, Concierge and Regency Club during peak hours.
Maintains thorough knowledge of cashiering functions and strictly follows cashiering and credit procedures.
Handles guest information confidentially and does not disclose room numbers to unauthorized persons.
Adheres to financial policies regarding cash floats and ensures accurate bill presentation and collection.
Maintains strong product knowledge of the hotel and local area, and maximizes sales and upselling opportunities.
Promotes the World of Hyatt program to non-members and understands airline frequent flyer programs.
Updates VIP guest history and marketing database as required.
Communicates guest feedback and departmental issues to the Assistant Front Office Manager or Duty Manager.
Coordinates with Bell Service for VIP luggage handling and transportation.
Ensures proper end-of-day procedures, account balancing, and maintains the GRO Daily Logbook.
Handles lost and found items in accordance with hotel policy.
Complies with hotel and Front Office policies, systems and procedures.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
Education : bachelor's degree or equivalent in hospitality/related field
Language Skills : a good working knowledge of English and proficiency in local language is an advantage
Experience : relevant internship & work experience in hotel or hospitality operations is an advantage
Skills : strong communication & interpersonal skills, creative problem-solving, and cultural awareness
Personal Attribute : passionate about hospitality, high adaptability & resilience, and curious about global hospitality trends
