JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position works under indirect supervision while operating computer-controlled machines to process parts or other work pieces made of various metals. Responsible for implementing a more automated process that uses a CNC to spin the metal and a spinning tool to shape it. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC spinning lathe and tube laser equipment according to production requirements Complete routine maintenance of machinery. Measure dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures. Perform part changeovers, machine setups, and tooling adjustments Monitor machine performance and make real-time adjustments as needed Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations. Remove and replace dull or damaged cutting tools Identify and resolve CNC errors or operational issues Inspect parts during and after production to maintain quality standards Load raw materials and stack or stage finished items Assists cross-functionally to contribute to team effort and shared success. Maintain tools and equipment in working condition and a clean work environment. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Qualifications 3+ or more years of relevant experience Operational and programming experience on CNC spinning machines, CNC mills, or tube laser equipment preferred Technical or associate\'s degree in machining/related field or programming field highly desired Ability to read and understand blueprints Ability to accurately use a micrometer and calipers Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions Critical thinking and problem-solving Highly organized; systems- and process-focused Ability to multi-task and move multiple projects forward simultaneously Physical Requirements of the Job Physical requirements of the job are classified as light to medium. Physical demand requirements are more than light work.
