Customs Compliance Specialist – Dixon, IL
Our client, a leader in international trade and logistics, is seeking a Customs Compliance Specialist to support cross‑border operations and ensure U.S. and Canadian trade compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Retrieve customs reports from ACES (U.S.) and CARM (Canada).
Conduct weekly audits of import/export reports and resolve billing discrepancies.
Verify and update HTS codes , ensuring accuracy and cost‑effective classifications.
Monitor compliance with Section 232 , Section 301 , Chapter 9903 tariffs, and related regulations.
Maintain master HTS files for EDI with U.S. Customs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or relevant experience.
Experience in trade compliance, customs, or global sourcing.
Knowledge of U.S./Canadian customs regulations and USMCA.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
