Customs Compliance Specialist – Dixon, IL

Our client, a leader in international trade and logistics, is seeking a Customs Compliance Specialist to support cross‑border operations and ensure U.S. and Canadian trade compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Retrieve customs reports from ACES (U.S.) and CARM (Canada).

  • Conduct weekly audits of import/export reports and resolve billing discrepancies.

  • Verify and update HTS codes , ensuring accuracy and cost‑effective classifications.

  • Monitor compliance with Section 232 , Section 301 , Chapter 9903 tariffs, and related regulations.

  • Maintain master HTS files for EDI with U.S. Customs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or relevant experience.

  • Experience in trade compliance, customs, or global sourcing.

  • Knowledge of U.S./Canadian customs regulations and USMCA.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
