Harrington Bottling Company Area Business Manager (ABM) in Dillon, Montana

Harrington Bottling (HC), a proud Pepsi Bottler of Butte has a full-time position available for an Area Business Manager (ABM) in the Dillon territory. The ABM is responsible for all facets of selling and delivery within a defined territory with an established customer base. The ABM’s primary responsibility is to regularly call on customers to actively sell and develop the company’s beverage brand portfolio. The ABM has supervisory responsibility to their delivery teams, drivers, driver helpers and merchandisers. The ABM works daily to provide direction, supervision and training to aid in the selling, delivering and merchandising of beverage products including soft drinks, sports drinks, teas, energy drinks, coffee drinks, juices, waters and various other beverage products within the company’s beverage portfolio. This ABM position may require work assisting in other ABM territories to help complete daily duties and to meet customer demands during peak sales times of the year. The ABM must be able to work well under pressure, meeting multiple time deadlines, be organized, timely, and responsive to customer and company requests. At all times they are requested to demonstrate a positive and cooperative behavior with customers, co-workers and supervisors. Base Salary of $40,000 per year as well as a monthly case sales commission and participation in various beverage brand sales incentives. Estimate annual earnings of $50,000 + based on the individual’s ability to aggressively sell the company’s brand portfolio. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE•High School Diploma/GED•Must be 18 years of age•Ability to effectively manage people in a fast-paced sales environment•Ability to effectively work with customers to actively sell and promote beverage portfolio.•Excellent written and verbal skills and basic math skills required.•Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check as well as a drug and alcohol test.•Previous field selling experience in food and beverage as well as experience in personnel supervision a plus.•A valid driver’s license is required. Candidate must be able to drive independently.
