Short Description

The Software Developer III is a seasoned professional responsible for designing, building, and maintaining complex and business‑critical software solutions. This role demonstrates a high degree of autonomy, technical judgment, and ownership, and serves as a technical leader within the team.

Developers at this level contribute to architectural decisions, lead complex problem resolution, and mentor other engineers while remaining hands‑on with development.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions

  • Lead development of complex features and integrations across systems

  • Conduct and guide code reviews, setting quality and performance standards

  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated, high‑impact technical issues

  • Mentor Software Developer I–II team members

  • Partner with Engineering Managers and Architects on technical direction

  • Improve performance, reliability, and observability of applications

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and tooling

Qualifications

Skills and Abilities

  • Advanced expertise in .NET, Angular, and modern application architectures

  • Strong understanding of system integration, APIs, and cloud‑native services

  • Proven ability to lead technical solutions and influence engineering decisions

  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal day‑to‑day guidance

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience

  • OR Master’s degree with 3+ years experience

  • OR equivalent work experience
